Did you know that one in five Canadians lives with a disability? With our aging population, the need for accessible solutions is more crucial than ever. Yet, barriers still exist in many aspects of life
In partnership with Rogers tv, Spinal Cord Injury Ontario is excited to announce a new season of Underestimated, presented by Oatley Vigmond Personal Injury Lawyers and brought to you by Spinal Cord Injury Ontario.
At its core, Underestimated is a compelling show about breaking barriers for people with disabilities, by exploring the challenges faced within the community and highlighting inspiring people who offer diverse and powerful lived experiences.
Underestimated challenges these barriers head-on through raw, honest storytelling, and we explore the lived experiences of people with disabilities and spotlight individuals who are actively reshaping their communities.
This season has our hosts travelling from Barrie to London and back to the GTA, meeting people with disabilities who have defied the odds and continue to share their stories. From housing and employment to mental health, relationships, and sex, Underestimated amplifies voices that are often overlooked, shedding light on the complex realities of living with a disability.
Join us as we tackle these important conversations, revealing the strength and resilience within the disability community. Presented by Oatley Vigmond Personal Injury Lawyers and brought to you by Spinal Cord Injury Ontario, Underestimated is more than just a show—it’s a platform for rewriting the story.
