At its core, Underestimated is a compelling show about breaking barriers for people with disabilities, by exploring the challenges faced within the community and highlighting inspiring people who offer diverse and powerful lived experiences.
Underestimated challenges these barriers head-on through raw, honest storytelling, and we explore the lived experiences of people with disabilities and spotlight individuals who are actively reshaping their communities.
This season has our hosts travelling from Barrie to London and back to the GTA, meeting people with disabilities who have defied the odds and continue to share their stories. From housing and employment to mental health, relationships, and sex, Underestimated amplifies voices that are often overlooked, shedding light on the complex realities of living with a disability.
Join us as we tackle these important conversations, revealing the strength and resilience within the disability community.
